Sheep…….Since 1965

I started my commercial flock with 2 crossbred Cheviot ewes, (Jingle and Holly) and built up my flock from these. The current Newhope commercial flock is mostly Dorset, with a few Suffolks.

Roy relaxing off duty

In 2004, we lost a number of sheep to a wolf that had moved into our area. Our solution was Roy, a Great Pyrenees flock guardian, later followed by his younger brother, Indy. Both dogs are from the Glenire Kennel. Attacks have nearly ceased since that time.
