.. alert and eager at the sight of hunting gear
.. a joy to watch as he quarters the field in search of the scent of birds
.. a delight to the eye as he bounds through brush and weeds on his quest
.. a happy grin on his face at the end of a hunt
.. his favourite toy? a bird stuffie, often carried around with him
.. at home, a gentle, soft snuggle pup, a wannabe lap dog, who doesnt fit my lap
